- Payment
1.1 There will be no delivery until cleared funds have been received.
1.2 Payment is taken at the time of ordering.
1.3 Payment by PayPal.
- Delivery
2.1 The goods will be delivered to the name and address you provide when you place your order. Please ensure that your address is correctly spelt – we will send it to the exact address given and will not be responsible for incorrect spelling or omissions when you placed your order.
2.2 If your order is returned by Royal Mail or courier, we will charge for redelivery. The charge must be paid before the order is reshipped.
2.3 Orders are shipped by Royal Mail or by courier depending on destination.
2.4 We reserve the right to increase postage costs as carriers increase them.
2.5 Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been paid for and processed. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery (such as postal strikes, bad weather, disruption to delivery services caused by government lockdowns, missed deliveries or delayed consignments from printers). In this case, we will endeavour to inform you of any significant delay as soon as possible and will give you the option of cancelling your order.
2.6 Any local customs charges, domestic taxes and associated handling charges are payable by you. In purchasing a book you accept this.
2.7 Your receipt will be emailed to you, as will your shipping notification and tracking details, if requested. We are not responsible for incorrectly spelt email addresses or undelivered emails.
2.8 If your book is returned to us by the mail service or courier due to the address being incorrect, we reserve the right to charge to re-ship your order. The charge is the shipping cost as calculated by the shopping cart for your order.
- Risk/Title
3.1 Goods are at your risk from the time of shipment to the address given.
3.2 Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until we have received in full (in cleared funds) all sums due in respect of the goods and all other sums which are or which become due to us from you on any account. - Damages, Returns and Refunds
4.1 If the book you bought from this website is damaged, please contact us within three days and keep the packaging as evidence. We will require photographs of damage to the books and packaging to claim compensation from the carrier. We may require you to remove random pages from the book and for you to either photograph them or send them to us.
4.2 If you bought your book from any source other than Moonshine Editions and it is damaged or defective, please contact that source.
4.3 Royal Mail will not consider a claim for a lost item until 15 working days after the expected delivery date for UK 1st class orders, or 20 working days after the expected delivery date for European orders and 25 working days after the expected delivery date for ‘rest of world’ orders. Therefore please allow 15 working days before contacting us about a possible loss for UK orders, or 20 working days for European orders and 25 working days for international orders.
4.4 If we agree to a refund, we will refund to the payment method used to pay for your order. Refunds will be effected as soon as possible after we receive the goods.
4.5 If you return your book for a refund and we are charged a customs fee by UK Border Force, we will deduct this fee from your refund. - Price & Pre-orders
5.1 Prices given in advertisements and mailshots are correct at the time of publication or sending, and we reserve the right to increase (or decrease) the prices on this website and other online marketplaces as necessary.
5.2 Pre-orders are, by definition, orders placed before publication of the book. When the book is published, the normal price is charged. Payment is taken at the time of order.
5.3 Pre-order prices and special offers are only available to retail orders placed on this website. - Privacy Policy
